Owned and operated by the Wei Wai Kum Nation, Discovery Harbour Fuel is built on deep local roots and extensive maritime experience. Our team includes former captains, boatswains, and water taxi operators who are seasoned on our docks and the region’s waters.
In addition to our 15 fuel dispensers serving dyed Ethanol-free premium gasoline and dyed marine diesel, we offer a complete waterfront shop stocked with local fishing tackle, bait, ice, propane, and marine lubricants.

We operate on the traditional territory of the Wei Wai Kum Nation, welcoming boaters to a stretch of coastline that has served as a pivotal navigational point for generations. Situated 73 nautical miles north of Nanaimo, our Campbell River location marks the entrance to Discovery Passage: the busiest marine hub on Northern Vancouver Island and a vital dock for traffic headed to northern waters.
Designed for fast, efficient fill-ups, our fuel dock keeps traffic moving smoothly. When you’re ready to step ashore for the day or spend the night in the region, transient moorage is available next door at the Nation-owned Discovery Harbour Marina.
